7th Annual Read and Romp

The American Academy of Pediatrics, CA Chapter 3 (AAP-CA3) will hold its 7th Annual Read & Romp Fundraiser on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 9AM – 12PM at the McMillin Event Center, Liberty Station in Point Loma. The family fundraiser encourages parents to read to their children and promote a love of reading. The event is best suited for children ages 8 and under. All proceeds benefit the pediatric literacy program Reach Out and Read San Diego, a program of the local AAP chapter.
Clifford and friends will greet guests at the door. Activities include book-themed crafts, story time, music and more. Cost is $8 for kids and $10 for adults pre-sale, and $12 per person, at the door: $30 for a family of 4 pre-sale and $40 for a family of 4 at the door. Admission is free to children 2 and under. Cost includes admission, activity tables, character meet and greet, storytelling, music, dancing and continental breakfast.
