Adventure Kids in Egypt

The “Adventure Kids in Egypt” exhibit lets kids experience what it’s like to be a modern archaeologist discovering the remnants of Ancient Egypt, then see the museum’s real mummies and authentic Ancient Egyptian artifacts. Through an interactive and sensory experience, the Adventure Kids exhibit helps children learn the skills they need to feel like intrepid archaeologists who set out to discover and study pieces of long-lost Ancient Egyptian history. After they’ve prepared to explore the Sahara desert, they’ll make finds in the museum’s dig site and learn about the role of the artifacts they find in Ancient Egyptian history. They’ll even see how mummies are made!
