Children’s After School Art Class

Pachis After School Art Classes are held once a week after school for children ages 5 – 12. Your children will explore their creativity through the Pachis curriculum that focuses on four different aspects of artistic discovery.

Every week we focus on a different aspect of artist discovery from the Pachis curriculum. Our classes are structured to use a variety of mediums: painting, drawing, sewing, clay, etc.

All projects are explained and techniques are shown at the beginning of the art project time, kids are given ideas, resources and enough supplies for them to work on their project as they wish. Pachis does not offer samples or color by numbers activities because we promote open ended art creation and support imagination and freedom.  The most structured art project we have worked on is when there is a guided drawing aspect involved, but then children paint or add on to the drawing as they wish.

SCHEDULE

5 – 8 year olds:

• Tuesdays: 4:30 – 5:30pm

9 – 12 year olds:

• Thursdays: 4:30 – 5:30pm

$25.00 Drop-in (1st time students only)

1 month commitment (4 classes)

$120.00 per child per month

3 month commitment (12 classes)

$110.00 per child per month

5 month commitment (20 classes)

$99.00 per child per month

Prices are for one class a week. Please choose the day and time that best fits your schedule. Class months may be started at any time. Please email info@mypachis.com to coordinate your child’s first class.

• Classes will not be held during Spring Break, March 30 – April 10, 2014.
