KPBS Kids Workshop: ‘Dinosaur Train’

San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum is proud to announce the return of KPBS Kids Workshops for 2017! Join Curious George, Elmo, Thomas, Sid the Science Kid, and other special guests as we explore the world around us through science, math, and literacy.
The KPBS Kids Workshop series consists of special storytimes, interactive presentations or a visit by a costume character, and hands-on workshops that connect to a KPBS Kids program educational theme.
Workshops and presentations take place on the Second Saturday of select months and will last approximately 30-45 minutes. Special storytimes at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Costume character visit or presentation at 10:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Workshops 10:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
These programs are designed for children ages 3 and up.
Price of KPBS Kids Workshops are included in Museum admission.
Workshop seating is first come, first served. As workshops tend to fill up quickly, please arrive early to secure your spot. Costume characters are selected for specific workshops given availability.

Educational Theme: Paleontology
If you found a fossil, would you know it? Can you imagine the creature the fossil came from? Explore different fossils and the stories they share. Special storytime, a visit from a costume character, and workshop at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
