Open Cockpit Days at Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum

Come sit in the cockpit of a plane like a real pilot! The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum has 27 vintage aircraft on display as well as hundreds of artifacts from World War I to present day. Select aircraft will be open for visitors to experience Marine aviation from a pilot’s perspective. Cockpits of select aircraft will be open 9:00 am-3:00 pm. on May 27-28; June 10-11 and 24-25; July 8-9 and 22-23; August 12-13 and 26-27; and, September 9-10. Free admission and parking. Note: The museum is closed on holidays. The museum entrance is on Miramar Rd., 3.9 miles east of I-805 and 1.3 miles west of I-15. (Look for the Marine Corps and American flags at the entrance.)
