Port of San Diego Big Bay Balloon Parade

America’s Largest Balloon Parade! Massive inflatables, numbering more than any other parade in the nation, colorful floats, unique drill teams, and marching bands, and…the Wienermobile!!!
Parade Route: North Harbor Dr. (west side of the County Administration Bldg.) – West Harbor Dr.
Parade festivities will begin in the television area with the finals of the 17th annual Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals and the Bumble Bee Seafoods 5K.

Don’t miss the RACING WIENER DOGS!!!  2:30 pm – just before the start of the parade. Annual Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals Final: the fastest eight dogs from the semifinals held in September will run in this championship race. It will also be shown during the nationally televised Port of San Diego Big Bay Balloon Parade.

Bumble Bee Foods 5K Run/Walk: Race Start: 2:45 pm Awards Ceremony 4:00 pm
Nationally televised 5K run/walk kick-off event preceding the Big Bay Balloon Parade. Nearly 1,000 contestants will hit the bayside streets of downtown San Diego. Runners will follow the one-mile parade route starting at the corner of Harbor Dr and Ash St, then continue along Harbor Drive, finishing near Tuna Harbor Park. Post-race party near Tuna Harbor Park.
