3 Ways To Save Money on your Kids

Yes kids cost money.  More food, more clothes, more diapers, more toys, more of everything.  I’m all about finding a good deal so here are 3 more ways I have saved money while shopping for my kids:

  1. Shop at baby resale stores.  Kids grow so quick and after I realized how much money I was spending on clothes, I was so happy I found baby resale stores!  I know I have said this before, but I just had another great experience buying clothes at one.  I got several shirts and pjs for only $1 each and some pants for only $3 each!  Plus the store purchased some of my baby clothes, so I got in store credit; it was a win-win!
  2. Buy diapers in bulk.  I know newborns grow quick into size 1 then size 2 diapers; but once I noticed my child was at the same size for alittle longer, I started buying the biggest box possible.   Sure enough it saved me money and lasted longer.
  3. Cut your kid’s hair yourself.  Yes of course the first hair cut is special, but after paying almost $20 for a quick buzz cut I asked my husband if he could just do it at home with his shaver.  As you can see in the photo, this might take a practice round!
