Why My Kid’s Drawing Touched My Heart

After a long day at work, it was so great to take a moment and see what my 4 year old had been working on in the kitchen.  It seems like overnight he is now able to draw something more than a circle, and it was one of those “don’t blink” moments in life.

As the saying goes, “the days are long but the years are short.”  It seems like only yesterday I was teaching him how to draw a line.  Now he is drawing pictures of our family… and a monkey!
