How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Old Globe Theater, now- December 31
Bring the kids out to enjoy Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas at the Old Globe Theater in Balboa Park. Tickets are on-sale now for this San Diego favorite.
Snow N Glow, Del Mar Fairgrounds, Dec 4- Jan 2
The Del Mar Fairgrounds will be turned into a winter wonderland filled with snow tubing, igloos, drive-thru holiday lights and more! Here’s more info.
San Diego Bay Parade of Lights, Dec 12 & Dec 19
This year marks the 50th Annual San Diego Bay Parade of Lights. Bring the family out for this holiday tradition. A parade of boats will be decked out in this year’s theme: The Twelve Days of Christmas. The boats will make their way around the bay starting at 5:30p. Here’s a tentative route:
5:30pm- Shelter Island
6pm- Harbor Island
6:30pm- Embarcadero
7pm- Seaport Village
7:15pm- Cesar Chavez Park Pier
7:30pm- Coronado Ferry Landing
Holiday Outdoor Ice Skating
There are lots of places to ice skate outdoors. The pop up rinks will be around until early January:
