What is better than trick-or-treating on Halloween? Trick-or-treating all weekend and there is PLENTY of places to do just that with the kids over the weekend to get them ready for the big day on Monday! Here are some of the places your kids can get their candy on this weekend!

Friday

Trick-or-Treat on India Street. Little witches and monsters get Halloween treats from participating Little Italy businesses. 5:30–7:30 pm. Maps available at the Piazza della Famiglia, India & W. Date St. www.littleitalysd.com

Trunk-or-Treat in Tierrasanta. Get into costume and play your way through carnival style games at each of our decorated trunks to win candy and prizes. Oct. 28, 5–8 pm. Newbreak Church Tierrasanta, 10791 Tierrasanta Blvd. www.Newbreak.church/tierrasanta

Monster Mash Carnival. Games, arts & crafts, costume contest and more. 4–6 pm. Paradise Hills, 6610 Potomac St. www.sandiego.gov/park-and-recreation/centers/recctr/paradise

Halloween Festival. Trick-or-treating, costume contest, crafts and more. 3:30–5:30 pm. Fallbrook Community Center, 341 Heald Ln., Fallbrook. www.sdparks.org

Saturday

HalLOEWSween. On the Trick-or-Treat Trail, kids can explore the hotel’s spooky and themed gardens, and collect candy from trick-or-treat locations throughout the resort. Garden themes include Witches Garden and Eyeball Patch, Star Wars, Encanto, and Toy Story Mania. Watch Hocus Pocus in the hotel’s ballroom. Oct. 29, 6 pm. Halloween Spooktacular. Trick-or-treating, creepy characters, Halloween activities, photo booths and tunes. Each child will receive a complimentary bucket to collect candy. Sunday

Treatport Village. Pick up a Seaport Village tote bag and map of all participating shops and trick-or-treat around the Village, enjoy live entertainment, carnival games, a raffle, a kids’ costume contest, a pumpkin carving contest and more. Beachside Fall Fest at Belmont Park. Pumpkin patch, free trick-or-treating (Sundays), rides and more. Through Oct. 31. 3146 Mission Blvd. Tickets: www.belmontpark.com
