A new day, a new item of mine is broken.

Is it because my kids are now 3 1/2 and 2 years old?  Is this what I can expect the rest of my life?  Is this a cruel joke?  The joke is that they broke 4 items all in this month!

It all started with my 3 1/2 year old son breaking his first item at a store.  Thankfully it was just a $5 piggy bank (1).  I purposely bought a $10 pair of sunglasses at this store to show them my apologies.  Later that day my daughter threw a glass vase full of beads (2) from our Wedding onto our bathroom floor where it shattered, right before we were suppose to be leaving for a party.  The worst part was she did it right in front of me and my reflexes weren’t fast enough so I watched it in slow motion.

Yes then of course my son found my new sunglasses the next day and did his toddler magic to break them in one second (3).

Guess what happened after I bought ANOTHER pair of sunglasses?  My daughter found them and started running around the house with them.

BROKEN (4)!  Thankfully my husband was able to fix them with some super glue and I’m wearing them today!   I wonder what of ours will be broken next month…
