Child Id

Liv & Leo, Inc. would like to remind parents of an easy solution to improve child safety this Halloween with child ID bracelets that give kids the independence they need and parents a peace of mind.

San Diego, CA — (ReleaseWire) — 10/15/2014 — With Halloween around the corner it is a great opportunity to remind parents to think about child safety. While Trick-Or-Treating means dark and crowded streets, it just takes a split second to get separated. Parents should be prepared and have their children worn a SmartKidsID Id Bracelet. Here is a short video on how easy it is to reunite a lost child with SmartKidsID: SmartKidsID Video

SmartKidsID offers fun colored bracelets and shoe tags that each comes pre-engraved with a unique QR Code. Parents should be pro-active and create free child ID online profiles (including vital info, medical information & recent photograph) at SmartKidsID and link the profile to the ID product in a few simple steps when the product arrives later.

When a child gets lost or needs special treatment in case of a medical emergency, a helper can either scan the QR code with a smartphone or call the 24/7 help hotline provided to get connected to the child’s parents. All information provided by the parents is safely stored on a secured and password protected page.

To protect a child’s identity a helper can just access information the account holder selected to make public. Codes can be scanned with any free QR Code Scanner or the free SmartKidsID App from the App Store.

When a child goes missing, parents can contact local law enforcement agencies and send a “Missing Child Alert” directly from the account with all the child’s information plus additional information that could be helpful to locate and identify a missing child as quickly as possible.
SmartKidsID products are available online at SmartKidsID and Amazon – no membership or monthly fees.
