The struggle to put together something your kids will actually want to eat for lunch is REAL! You could spend hours on preparing their lunch for them to not even touch what you made. Here are some simple and healthy lunch ideas the kids will for SURE enjoy.

Make Them Something They’ve Never Seen Before!

Admit it, as much as you might love a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, after several weeks of the same thing even THAT gets old. Get your kids excited when they open their lunch box by making them something new they have never seen before. The link below has some really creative and unique ideas that will set their lunch apart from all their friends. I might even make the ham and cheese sushi rolls for myself!

DIY Lunchables

When I was a kid, there was nothing better than getting to school with a lunchable in your backpack for lunch. This could probably be why Lunchables were scarce during a portion of the pandemic. But there was always one or two things in the pack that you would end up throwing out. Luckily, there are plenty of easy ways to make your own Lunchable using items you know your kids love.

Lunches That Will Be Instagram Worthy

When we were kids, we didn’t have to worry about the pressures of social media when it came to our lunches. As long as we had a cute lunchbox, that was all that mattered. Now, lunch not only needs to taste good, but it’s got to look good too! Here are some great tips on how make your kids lunch perfect for Instagram:

Don’t Forget a Bento Box!

When I was a kid, lunch came in a bag with your favorite character and you hoped it wouldn’t end up squished by lunchtime. Usually, I ended up with a flat sandwich and a baggie of crumbled up crackers. That is why sales of Bento Boxes have skyrocketed over the last couple years. Not only will it keep your food intact, it also helps the environment so we don’t have 2-3 plastic baggies to throw out each meal. There are so many great options currently available, you’ll easily be able to find something to fit your child’s needs.
