Too often dads are depicted as clueless or idiots, so I’m here to shout out a BIG thank you to my husband for being a great father.photo(58)

I’m leaving the family for the entire weekend due to work and I don’t have a single thing to worry about besides missing them.  You might be thinking, “I bet she is leaving a huge list of things to reminder her husband” and the answer would be Nope.  Why is that?  Because during these last 2 years, he has done just as much with the babies as I have.  He has changed as many poopy diapers, fed as many bottles, dealt with as many outbursts, made as many meals, etc. as I have.

I don’t know why this mentality still exists that the woman does it all, it’s time to give credit to the men.  If you are thinking, “but I DO do it all” again I ask “why is that?” Is it because you are a martyr and feel like you HAVE to do it?  Have you even LET him try to do the tasks.  Give up some control and you will be happier!  Seriously, next time you are about to do a task that he never does, tell him it’s time for him to do it.  He will figure it out just like you had to.

So again a big shout out to my husband and all the men who are there for their children!
