2017 Friends Of The Badge Luncheon

June 6, 2017

Join San Diego Police Chief Shelley Zimmerman and “America’s Finest” officers for the Friends of the Badge Luncheon 2017 Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at the San Diego Convention Center located at 111 W Harbor Drive.

Starts at 10:30 am!

The Friends of the Badge 2017 theme is “Safety for All” and will highlight successful, innovative and heartwarming examples of how community members and police work together for a safer San Diego.

Friends of the Badge is produced by the San Diego Police Foundation, which works to ensure that those who protect and serve have what they need to do their jobs safely and with excellence.

Community support of the Police Foundation helps provide the funding for much-needed equipment, training and outreach programs in support of a safer San Diego.

At the event, the Police Foundation showcases what police officers do and how they do it, as well as offering the opportunity to talk one-on-one with police officers.

Actual police vehicles, technology, tools and equipment used every day by the S.D.P.D. will be on display.

Special event highlights include appearances by the SWAT team, Motorcycles Unit, Homeless Outreach Team, Family Justice Center, and K-9 Unit.

Individual tickets for the luncheon event are $125 and tables for 10 (9 attendees + 1 officer) are only $1,250.

Children and their parents or chaperones are invited to attend on a special Showcase-only ticket for $25 each to experience the interactive exhibits and learn about police work.

This year’s Champion Sponsor is Qualcomm Incorporated, and the Public Safety Patrons are SDG&E and Marco Polo, Inc.

More sponsorship opportunities are available. For details, please contact Rosa at (619) 232-2130.
