 DAILY SPRING CAMP THEMES

MONDAY: Welcome to Our Room Where the Flowers Bloom

Spring has finally sprung and animals around the world are adjusting to brand new environments with warmer weather, rainy days, and lots of new life! Discover how animals adjust to their spring time habitats, through adaptations, coverings, and camouflage while meeting an alpaca, skink, parrot, rabbit, turtle and tortoise.

TUESDAY~ How Different Noses Smell the Roses

As winter melts into spring, the earth begins to blossom with the sights and smells of new life. While some animals smell the roses with their noses, others smell them with their tongue! Explore all of the unique animal senses including abilities to see, smell, feel, hear, and taste while meeting a cockatiel, dog, gecko, mini horse, and snake.

WEDNESDAY~ Hop Hop Hooray! It’s a Spring Time Buffet!

With new life comes new food choices, and lots of them!  Campers will discover all the gross, delicious, and downright weird things animals eat during their spring time buffet while meeting a bearded dragon/skink, chicken, cockroach, mini horse/sheep, and rabbit play group.

THURSDAY~ EGG-CITING Life Cycles!
Baby animals may just be the most exciting (and adorable) things about spring! All animals have a special journey into this world whether they hatch from an egg or are born live, and we’re excited to explore them all. Campers will discover life cycles, life spans, changes between baby animals and their adult counterparts, and relationships between mothers and young while interacting with doves, frogs, guinea pigs, sheep, and walking sticks.

FRIDAY~ We Love Mother Nature

Mother Nature may be one of the most important mothers of spring! Giving us a beautiful place to coexist with animals, she definitely deserves all of our love! Campers will learn respect for earth and its inhabitants, proper pet care, and compassion for living beings while meeting a chinchilla, hermit crab, parrot, snake, and dog.
