photo(24)I know it’s a 50/50 chance on what your baby’s sex will be, but we were surprised when we found out it’s a Girl!  This whole pregnancy I have felt the same as when I was pregnant with Bryce, so we were both certain it was going to be another boy.  I guess all the stories about girls causing morning sickness and harder pregnancies all goes back to the good ol’ saying “everybody is different.”  I even made sure we saw different angles in the ultrasound so we didn’t miss anything!

The boxes of clothes from Bryce will have to stay in storage as we get the cute pink frilly outfits ready.  I already told my husband that we are going to reuse all of Bryce’s pajamas though because  a pajama is a pajama and those things cost $10 a piece!  He even went a step further and said she can wear the “Future Quarterback” onesies.  I will admit I am excited to get some of those cute girly clothes I always eye at when I’m out shopping.  Not to mention, this is going to be the first girl on my husband’s side of the family so his mom is still screaming from the news that she has her girl now!

The day we had our ultrasound, we Skyped with family and had a balloon that said “It’s A Girl” come out of a box to show the reveal.  Then we stuck with the balloon theme to announce it to our Radio Family on KSON.  This was a little more fun since Tammy HATES balloons and she faced her fear to find out the big news.  We had her pop balloons on the air until the pink confetti came out – here is the video:
