With spring just around the corner, two local moms are helping families find all they need for their kids at a fraction of retail prices at the Just Between Friends Spring Consignment Event, April 6 – 7 at the Spring Valley Gymnasium. Consignment events are a growing trend throughout the US, but safety when shopping second hand can also be a concern. At Just Between Friends, safety is priority. They have a Recall Specialist who is certified by the Consumer Product Safety Commission who helps to ensure that no recalled items are sold at any JBF events.
Families who shop JBF can find great bargains on everything from clothing, toys, electronics, books, baby equipment, furniture and much more. Just Between Friends also provides a place for parents to turn items their families have outgrown or no longer need into cash.
Consignors at JBF San Diego price and tag their own items using an easy online system, and JBF does the rest of the work handling the sales. Consignors earn 60 percent of the sales, 70 percent if they help at the sale. The money at JBF stays in the local community and most goes back into the pockets of local families. The event begins April 6, and is one you won’t want to miss!
Date: Sunday, April 6 – 11:00am – 8:00pm
Monday, April 7 – 9:00am – 1:00pm
Place: Spring Valley Gymnasium, 838 Kempton Street
Admission $3.00
Local moms Tammy White and Amy Fernandez organize the JBF event twice a year and are thrilled to help out their community. JBF San Diego gives back, donating unsold items to Birthline of San Diego and CASA. Tammy and Amy are available for interviews before and during the event. We can also provide families who participate as consignors and shoppers for interviews.
