My SD Moms I’m not sure how well the words Kid and Bar go together, but the social media responses are definitely mixed. It seems that a 38 year old mom in Buffalo, NY was recently arrested for having her 
20 month old at a bar with her in the wee hours of the night – with a live band playing no less. That was not the main reason she was arrested though, the Buffalo News reports that authorities also claim a nearby adult stopped Anne’s toddler son “without the mother even noticing” as he made a dash for the street while they sat on the patio — prompting a 911 call out of fear for the child’s well-being. Ann Calan, the woman who was arrested says…”I had to hop over the stroller to go after him,” Callan tells the Buffalo News. One of the people smoking on the other side of the patio “got up and grabbed him,” she said, adding: “I was right in back of him. It all happened in a matter of seconds.”
The Mom says she showed up with her child before 7 pm to see her friends band play. At 7:3o when the bands set was over, she and her son headed to the patio to enjoy dinner with her friends in the band. That’s when her son saw his chance to break for freedom, as most toddlers might do in that situation.
Ann told local Buffalo news, she’s taken her 20-month-old son to “so many different places,” the mom says that when it comes to bars, “Never again.”
