Here we go again! On November 5th, 2017 we are at the end of daylight savings time, which usually turns your world upside down.

Just when you get used to one schedule it’s time to switch to another one. You thought you were ready, you thought you had it all under control but as it turns out, not so much. The kids are cranky due to lack of sleep and are driving you, they’re teachers and everyone else around them crazy. They’re little bodies can’t figure out when they are supposed to sleep – oh yes, adults feel it too. Not to mention wacky eating times. So what do you do?

Ashley Grimaldo, who blogs about money and offers advice for frugal-minded parents, has a great guide for parents to help with the end of daylight savings time adjustment. For example; try pushing back bedtime slightly. “If you have a baby or toddler, I recommend pushing bedtime back by 10 or 15 minutes for a few nights,” Grimaldo advises. “This will take some discipline, but establishing a solid bedtime routine and sticking to it is not only important for your sanity, but for your child’s health, too.”
