Between diapers, crying and sleep (sleep?) issues, first-time parents of new babies can feel confused, overwhelmed and exhausted. “New Parent Survival Tips for Baby’s First Year: What Nobody Told Us So We Learned the Hard Way” by John Morrow offers simple solutions to make that first year a little easier, a little more enjoyable and a lot more restful.
The brand-new ebook, now available on Amazon, offers succinct tips on everything from labor and delivery to, of course, getting babies to sleep, from tummy time to taking care of yourself.
“I had pretty much no experience with babies, but somehow they let me leave the hospital with our two-day old,” Morrow said. “There are a lot of things I wish I had been told ahead of time, so that I would have been a little more prepared for life with a newborn. While babies don’t come with an owner’s manual, this ebook is designed to give new parents a little reassurance and a little support as their lives suddenly change forever.”
Morrow, who works in marketing in the Twin Cities, has a (mostly) happy one-year-old boy, who sleeps through the night, loves Greek yogurt and music, and makes every day an adventure. In addition to being a first-time dad, he is also a first-time author, who was inspired to write “New Parent Survival Tips for Baby’s First Year” one early morning while driving around the lake, trying to coax his son back to sleep.
The 37-page ebook for new parents, published by Amazon Digital Publishing, is available online for $2.99.
“I hope that these parenting tips will solve many of the challenges you face as a new parent and make you laugh, make you think, and, with a bit of luck, make you and your baby happier,” Morrow added.
