Holiday in the Village

Themed performances, children’s activities, strolling performers, contests, drawings, shopping specials and more. The Starlight Parade returns at 6:00 pm and takes the traditional route down Third Avenue from H to E Street.

On Saturday, December 6 from noon to 5 p.m. the Village comes alive with the holiday spirit thanks to themed performances, children’s activities, strolling performers, contests, drawings, shopping specials and more presented by Third Avenue Village Association and South Bay Volkswagen.

Holiday in the Village provides a day full of holiday merriment for friends and family of all ages set in pedestrian-friendly Third Avenue Village. Join the chorus of jingles at the Holiday Harmony Stage where talented performers will dazzle you. Beloved stories come alive at the Merry Tales Story Tent where costumed characters read Frozen, The Polar Express and How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Several lucky young attendees will even walk away with fun props.

Shop the Village and take advantage of several specials offered by Village merchants for the event. Spend $10 or more at any Village business between H and E Street to participate in the Village Retail Raffle. Simply bring your receipt to the TAVA booth at Memorial Park and receive a raffle ticket for the chance to win $100 CASH.

When the Holiday in the Village festivities wrap up, the City of Chula Vista’s Starlight Parade returns! The parade kicks off at 6 p.m. and takes the traditional route down Third Avenue from H to E Street.
