H&M Landing has offered whale watching and nature cruises since 1956 and our sea-going operations go back as far as 1935. Our captains and crews are experienced, skilled and certified.

We operate sea-going adventures to view the spectacular offshore migration of the California Gray Whale.
On the way out the harbor, you can enjoy the sights of San Diego Bay including the downtown skyline, Coronado Bridge,North Island, the historic Spanish Lighthouse on Point Loma, and the US Naval fleet and resident marine wildlife.

the large pods of migrating whales will arrive off our coast going south en route to the warm water lagoons of Baja California where they mate and have their young. A boat ride into coastal waters provides the unique opportunity to witness nature in motion. In addition to whales, any trip may also encounter dolphins, sea lions and many seabirds including pelicans, terns, petrels, herons, egrets, cormorants and gulls.
