Liberty Station Tree Lighting & Holiday Festivities

Liberty Station, San Diego’s signature neighborhood, will kick off its Salute the Season holiday festivities with its annual Liberty Station Tree Lighting & Holiday Festivities on Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 5-9 p.m.
Family and friends will gather around to witness Liberty Station’s iconic 88-foot Norfolk pine tree light up for the holiday season and enjoy a Holiday Marketplace, mini train rides on the Liberty Express, live entertainment, photo ops with Santa, an outdoor viewing of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and more.
The community is invited to partake in the joy of the season and see Liberty Station transform into a holiday spectacle.
There will be live entertainment throughout the community all evening long and the tree lighting will take place at 6:15 p.m. A patient family of Rady Children’s Hospital will flip the switch to light up the 88-foot tall tree.
