Of course I knew my body would change after having a baby, but I didn’t think I would deflate.  My butt is gone and my boobs are following.

I asked my sister after having my first baby if I would ever get them back, and she said “yea when you get pregnant again.”  Sure enough!  My butt and boobs came back when I got pregnant with baby #2 but now that she is almost 8 months old, I’m flattening out again.  Now I’m dealing with people calling me “skinny minny” and wondering how I lost the weight.  The only answers I have are: genetics, being a nursing mom means burning extra calories, and I hardly drink due to breast feeding.

Sure I lost the baby weight, but I lost it in areas I didn’t think would go away.  I bought some kettle bells and started doing squats to try to get my butt back.  I never thought I would say a sentence like that!  I know every woman is self conscience about some part of her body.  One woman is upset her butt is too flat while the woman next to her is upset her butt is too round.  Yes we should embrace our new bodies thru these stages of life, but what body part are you working on after having a baby?
