“Nice butt!”   The first time I heard her say that, I laughed… loudly.  Later that day when she said “Nice Butt” again in front of her 3 older siblings, they all laughed really hard as well.  amberkins-2

Ever since then, she says it all the time and its not so funny anymore.  Actually, it’s quite embarrassing.   The most embarrassing moment was when she turned to an older women sitting next to us on the plane and said, “Nice butt grandma.”

She has since learned the word “booby” (I blame her older brothers for that one),  and has added “nice booby” to her repertoire.

Yes, I tell her not to say those things.  Yes,  I tell her that that it’s not polite.  I try to ignore it.  I try to distract her by asking questions like, “what is your favorite color” but It doesn’t work.   She still says “Nice butt” and “Nice booby,” all the time.

In the end I know it’s just a phase and I have to be honest, I still find it funny (sometimes).
