Summer is in full swing and so is the heat! Looking for ways to cool off? Head to one of the many splash pads around our county for an easy & affordable way to stay cool.

Bonita: Eastview County Park. Enjoy the splash pad there for $3 a day!

Carlsbad: Alga Norte Aquatic Center. Bring the family to enjoy the splash pad and pool there. Admission: $5 for adults, $3 for kids.

Chula Vista: Mountain Hawk Park. Not only is there a splash pad here, but there’s also a playground, soccer field, and BBQ grills! Make it a day there.

Del Mar: Del Mar Highlands Town Center. The splash pad there is open 9am-9pm every day. Check their website for free kids concerts too.

Downtown: Waterfront Park. This is a free splash pad! Hours are 11a-9pm on Mondays, and 9am-9p Tuesday through Sunday.

Mission Valley: Civita Park. Right in the heart of Mission Valley. There’s so much to do at this park. In addition to the awesome free splash pad, there’s a huge field, playgrounds, a little garden trail to walk and more.

Poway: The Swim Center. This place has a lap pool and splash pad too! Admission for non-residents: $8/adult, $6/kid. Admission for residents: $4/adult, $3/kid.

San Marcos: Las Posas Pool. Enjoy the splash pad, lap pool, water slide, diving board and picnic area here! Open Recreational Swim fee is $4/day.

Santee: Lake One at Santee Lakes. This splash pad area is for kids 13 and under. They’re open from 9am-6:30pm daily. Admission: $3 on weekdays, $4 on weekends.
