I Paid Someone To Do My Laundry!

I’m a single mom of 4 children AND I work full time.  I rarely get a break from “Adulting.”  Except for this past Sunday….

I woke up on Sunday morning and for the first time in many, many weeks I was “kid-free.”  I looked around my messy house and saw hampers filled with dirty clothes that needed to be washed.  (4 kids plus me, now that’s A LOT of clothes).  UGH!!!!

Having a kid-free Sunday pretty much never happens to me so rather than spend my “kid-free”day in a laundromat,  I made one of the best decisions I’ve made in a REALLY LONG time….  I paid someone else to do my laundry.

I could not hold back my excitement as I dropped off my dirty clothes at a fluff and fold.   I walked out with a bill in my hand and a huge smile on my face.

So how did I spend the rest of my Sunday?  I enjoyed brunch and mimosas with my closest friends then came home and took the most peaceful 3 hour nap. It was a beautiful day and worth every penny.
