I am not a fan of the grocery store.  I dislike grocery shopping almost as much as I dislike doing the laundry but it’s something that’s just gotta get done. Grocery shopping with my 4 kids can be a lot to handle so I try and avoid doing that whenever possible. It’s a lot quicker and less stressful when I shop without the kids so I usually do it on my way home from work, before I have to pick up the kids.

Last week, I was really sick and simply did not feel well enough to stop at the grocery store but we desperately needed groceries. That’s when I decided to do something I’ve never done before…. I ordered my groceries online and had them delivered to my house!  How was the experience, you ask?  IT WAS AMAAAAAAAAZING!!!! The fact that I was able to skip a trip to the grocery store was simply delightful!

When I was loading my (virtual) shopping cart, I was surprised to learn that the cost of the food was actually cheaper than my grocery store’s prices. There was no delivery fee but I did tip the guy $7 bucks (worth every penny).  In the end, ordering my groceries online and having them delivered was actually less expensive than doing it the old fashion way!

Looks like I’m a fan of grocery shopping now!  -Amber
