Dia de los Muertos Festival

More than 3,000 people will come together at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido to celebrate Dia de los Muertos, a Mexican celebration focused on honoring deceased loved ones and ancestors. This free event invites the community to enjoy live music, children’s art and crafts activities, food vendors and traditional Mexican fare. Guests are encouraged to participate by creating altars in designated squares outside of the Center’s museum. Candles will be provided, but participants must bring pictures, mementos, etc.
