Julian Gold Rush Days

FreeJulian’s Gold Rush Days is a period of remembrance of the gold rush of 1869 that brought the town of Julian to existence. It was San Diego County’s first and only gold rush. Julian Gold Rush Days celebrates the discovery of gold in this mountain community with two days of events including historical encampments, reenactments & mock claim jumping, demonstrations, and gold panning. Also vendors, an arts & crafts market, food & drink, gem mining, children’s pioneer games, & plenty of family fun.
