Summer Infant has issued a voluntary recall of its small baby bather. Notably, the recall is aimed at parents who carry the bather while a child is in it — an action that is specifically warned against on the product and in instructions.
Summer Infant reports: “CPSC and Summer Infant have received seven reports of incidents, in the US, including five reports of head injuries (four skull fractures and one bump to head) resulting from falls when the bather was used to lift and carry a child.”
